Before court: things to confirm

This is a prompt sheet, not permission to bring any item. Use the current court and establishment rules.

□ Ask my solicitor about the hearing, possible outcomes and what happens next.
□ Check the bag, clothing and belongings I can bring on sentencing day.
□ Check colours, hoods, footwear, quantities, toiletries and containers.
□ Write down permitted phone contacts and my solicitor’s details.
□ Prepare potential visitor details and check registration requirements.
□ Agree how medication and relevant health information will be passed on.
□ Tell family the first call may be followed by a gap before regular calls.
□ Arrange care for dependants, pets and practical matters outside.
□ Do not bring prohibited items or carry something for someone else.
